My name is Aurélie, I'm in my late forties and I live in France. In 2001, I created this website to fill a gap I noticed on the Internet: the lack of a comprehensive resource dedicated to Tracy Chapman's music, news and archives. I also co-manage the Tracy Chapman Online Community on social media and write the related newsletter hosted on Substack to ensure it remains a valuable resource for fans and music enthusiasts.

I love tracy chapman.l love all her songs.since 15years of my age,l have love her voice.she quite a lady.gloria niger from nigeria.
I’m 14 and I find something so inspiring and beautiful in Tracy Chapman and her music. I hope she is happy wherever she is now, even though she isn’t making any more music. It’s amazing that one artist, one person, can talk to so many people and inspire so many people. I have a childish dream of meeting Tracy, and when I really think about it, it makes me laugh a bit.
It’s not just Tracy’s music that is amazing, but the message she gives alone is just so powerful, so true, even now, in 2012.
I love you Tracy, and I wish you were reading this. I hope you are happy wherever you are.
I write music and play guitar, and also sing, like Tracy, but I can only dream of writing and performing a song like Tracy can.
It’s sad to think Tracy’s music is still relevant, in fact, just as relevant as ever, and as Tracy wrote, ‘our bright future is in our past’. And it is, unfortunately.
I know you’re not trying to change people’s lives, but for me, with the help of you, Tracy Chapman, and your music, the simple fact is, I have changed. I look upon people the world differently now, and I thank you so much.
I know you must have so many people say this to you, but I truly feel a connection, and I love you. I hope you’re happy and well. xxx
