? A greatest hits already exists, Collection, released on 2001 in Europe, Australia and Japan, it’s composed of songs chosen by Tracy Chapman from her first album (1988) to Telling Stories (2000). Missing then the next 3 albums: Let It Rain (2002), Where You Live (2005), Our Bright Future (2008).
? US Sales: Since Nielsen SoundScan began tracking sales in 1991, Chapman’s catalog of albums have sold 8.1 million in the U.S. Her biggest seller since 1991 is “New Beginning,” which has moved 3.8 million.
? Tracy have at least sold 35 million albums through the world but we have no official data regarding worldwide sales.
