Subscribe to my newsletter about Tracy Chapman!

The goal of this newsletter

Social media is a good way to stay informed, but you still need to be connected when the posts are published. With the newsletter, however, you will receive the information directly in your inbox.

This newsletter aims to provide you with:

    1. Curated news and updates regarding Tracy Chapman’s appearances or mentions as they become available ;
    2. Highlights from the most iconic Tracy Chapman historical resources available online, including as press articles, interviews, TV performances, and podcasts.

The mailing frequency will be irregular and will be determined by (1) the timing of Tracy’s news, which are clearly beyond our control, and (2) the amount of time I have available.

Whether you’ve been a fan since Tracy’s 1988 debut or have only recently discovered her, this is your invitation to join a thoughtful community that values her timeless message and work

About me

My name is Aurélie. I’m a 48-year-old French writer and researcher who loves Tracy Chapman’s music since I really discovered it in 1992. My work has appeared on a variety of platforms.

In 2001, I launched this website, about-tracy-chapman.net, a Tracy-focused website, to address the internet’s lack of comprehensive resources for her music, news, and archives. Today, it is the only website about her that still exists. Even her official website has gone down.

I co-founded Tracy Chapman Online, a vibrant social media community with 2.7 million followers. If you’re not already following us on Facebook, Instagram, X, Threads, YouTube, or Bluesky, consider doing so.

I launched this Substack newsletter to serve as the ultimate stop for essential discussions and narratives about Tracy Chapman’s remarkable career.

My goal is to foster and grow this area into a valuable resource for everyone who is connected to Tracy’s music.
