Mastering engineer Bernie Grundman described the new album as “beautifully recorded with a very intimate, natural feeling that will easily connect with the listener.”
A mainstay of the Cambridge, MA coffeehouse circuit during her studies at Tufts University, Chapman signed to Elektra Records and released her first self-titled album in 1988. Featuring the singles “Fast Car,” “Talkin’ Bout a Revolution,” and “Baby, Can I Hold You,” the album earned Platinum status and garnered three Grammy Awards.

A graduate of Tufts University, Chapman also received her honorary Doctor of Fine Arts in 2004 for her contributions as a socially conscious and artistically accomplished musician.
