Audio interview + Acoustic songs for BBC – The Strand

[singlepic=1050,371,226,left] Tracy Chapman has been interviewed by Harriett Gilbert for the radio show “The Strand” on BBC’s international. The interview has been broadcasted on November 11.

Tracy talks to Harriett Gilbert about how, as a politically disillusioned 16 year old, she sat down to write what turned out to be an anthem of the 1980s, ‘Talkin’ Bout a Revolution’.

She also tells Harriett about why she is feeling comparatively light-hearted and playful, and how this mood has affected the songs in her new album ‘Our Bright Future’.

Tracy Chapman performs Sing For You (see the video) and Baby Can i Hold You live in solo.
