Exciting news!! Tracy Chapman will perform “Fast Car” with Luke Combs during the 2024 Grammys ceremony on February 4th, 2024, sources tell Variety.
Though she has not performed publicly in years, she’s joining Combs to sing “Fast Car” at the Grammys after his cover became one of the most popular songs of 2023. It’s a duet that many fans, especially Luke Combs’, have hoped for, including Luke Combs himself.
Last July, Luke Combs’ team said that there were no plans for the country superstar to share a stage with Tracy Chapman. But if the opportunity ever did arise, Combs would undoubtedly jump at the chance to duet with Chapman on the song : “We would be more than excited if the opportunity arose for Tracy and Luke to perform the song together,” Combs’ manager, Chris Kappy, told Billboard as part of an interview in which Combs shared his fandom for Tracy.

How To Watch The 2024 GRAMMYs Live
The live broadcast of the 2024 GRAMMYs will be available on CBS Television Network and can also be streamed through Paramount+. Subscribers of Paramount+ with SHOWTIME can stream it live through their local CBS affiliate’s feed on the service. They also have the option to watch it on demand within the United States. However, those with Paramount+ Essential subscriptions won’t have the live streaming option, but they can watch it on-demand the day following the broadcast, exclusively in the U.S.
