The U.S. Documentary Grand Jury Prize was given to “Rich Hill,” a film about the struggles of a family who live in Rich Hill, Mo. As Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter Tracy Chapman said during the presentation, the film was chosen “for the beauty of this quiet and powerful storytelling, revealing its characters’ dignity in the face of immense challenges.”
