Chapman will speak at the TED2007 "Icons. Geniuses.
Mavericks", on March 9, 2007 in Monterey, California.

Chapman's live performance at A Concert Against AIDS
on May 27, 1989 is now available as an audio streaming
online on Concert
Vault (you'd need to register to be able to
listen to it):
Highlights
of this set include penetrating solo acoustic versions
of "Fast Car" and "Talking 'Bout A Revolution,"
but also superb stripped down renditions of lesser known
material, such as "Mountains O' Things," a vivid
portrait of material obsession.
Two
songs that would be included on Chapman's sophomore
album, Crossroads, are also featured. "Subcity"
and "All That You Have Is Your Soul" prove
that Chapman had much more to offer beyond her debut
efforts.
Sound
quality is excellent and please listen to interludes
in particular, n the first one Tracy talks about the
reason why she's performing to fight against AIDS. And
in the second one she dedicates the songs she's gonna
play to... her dog Ginger (and explains why)

new date has been added to the European Summer Tour,
it's in France, well sorta, in Monte Carlo at the Sporting
Summer Festival. The occasion if you like to have a
dinner before attending a Tracy Chapman concert. Tickets

om Oslo og sentrum Scene. Sist gang hun gjestet Norge
var i Oslo konserthus i mars 2003. Da ble alle billettene
solgt på litt over to timer.
