FAST CAR REMIX ] MAY 02, 2004 |
|
REVVING
UP OLD CHAPMAN CLASSIC
IT'S
one of the classic chill-out songs but Tracy Chapman's
Fast Car is currently burning up dancefloors all over
the UK.
The
track originally a top five hit in 1988 has now been
covered by Manchester DJ Sharon O Love, along with producer
3 Elements and singer Lelani.
The
talented trio's version is already a hit with clubbers
all over the UK and is sure to make a big impression
on the charts when it's released through Xtravaganza
Records on May 24.
Lelani
has turned in an almost perfect rendition of Chapman's
unique vocal and, with the famous guitar riff from the
original retained, this is one damce remix that won't
have purists up in arms.
Funky,
not cheesey even though Dave Pearce is battering it
you can be sure of hearing this all over Ibiza this
summer.
