Creativity Contest for an Ebook Celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the Debut Album


To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the release of Tracy Chapman’s Debut Album, we invite people to submit their stories with the album or songs from it. We’ll gather those stories in a free ebook to be published on April 2018.
To illustrate this book, we are looking for pieces of art related to:
– the cover of the Debut Album
– or the lyrics of one of the songs from this album Debut Album (Talkin’ Bout A Revolution, Fast Car, Across The Lines, Behind The Wall, Baby Can I Hold You, Mountains O’ Things, She’s Got Her Ticket, Why?, For My Lover, If Not Now… or For You)
Your piece of art can be:
– a drawing
– a painting
– a sculpture
– a comic
– a piece of calligraphy with lines from a song
– a photography
– whatever you want!

No money will be made from this book as it will be available for free but of course, but we’d credit you and if you sell your art, we could promote it on the book as well.

    But remember it has to be about the Debut Album only!

    Registration for the Contest opens on Saturday, October 20, 2017 and ends on Wednesday, February 18, 2018


    Winners will be chosen by us and have their piece of art printed in the free ebook. Don’t forget to give us your infos so we can credit you!
