[ Tracy Chapman ads invade the parisian subway ] Saturday, September 27, 2008

Coming back from work yesterday evening, I've been hooked when i saw that giant ad at my metro station. Today I rode the subway to capture some pictures, above is one of them. Others are published on my Flickr here.

What about Berlin? London? Rome? Do they promote the shows in your city?

[ New european dates on the Our Bright Future Tour ] Wednesday, September 03, 2008

TracyChapman.com has been updated announcing a new version of the site for early november and above all some new concerts added to the European schedule, 2 more concerts in Dublin, 1 more in London and in Paris and Dresden in Germany see Chapman coming as well.

November 2008
12th Wednesday - Brussels, Palais des Beaux Arts
15th Saturday - Oslo, Sentrum Scene
16th Sunday - Stockholm, Cirkus
17th Monday - Copenhagen, Royal Theatre
19th Wednesday - Berlin, Tempodrom
20th Thursday - Dresden, Kulturpalast
22nd Saturday - Paris, Folies Bergeres
23rd Sunday- Amsterdam, Paradiso
25th Tuesday - Hamburg, CCH 1
26th Wednesday - Munich, Postpalast
28th Friday - Milan, Teatro degli Arcimboldi
29th Saturday - Rome, Auditorium do Via della Conciliazione

December 2008
1st Monday - Florence, Teatro Verdi
2nd Tuesday - Zurich, Kongreshaus
4th Thursday - Lyon, Ampitheatre
8th Monday - Dublin, Olympia Theatre
9th Tuesday - Dublin, Olympia Theatre
10th Wednesday - Dublin, Olympia Theatre
12th Friday - Bristol, Colston Hall
14th Sunday - Manchester, Apollo
15th Monday - London, Hammersmith Apollo
16th Tuesday - London, Hammersmith Apollo
18th Thursday - Strasbourg, Zenith
19th Friday - Paris, Palais de Congress

I have doubts on the following "new" schedule as the Lyon concert initially announced for December 05 is now scheduled for December 04 and the Marseille concert would have been cancelled (but tickets sellers don't mention those updates).

And last but not least, here's the poster for the first Paris concert!

PS: Thank you very much to the guardian angel who alerted me of those updates while I'm overseas ;)
